AHHH, Briscoe Cain. never could figure that dude out, other than he gets seriously confused. Are you aware in ranking the best and worst state legislators, Texas Monthly magazine called Cain, who represents the Deer Park suburb of Houston, one of the worst state representatives? They repeated one story where Cain, in 2017, calling himself a “Conservative, with ‘Conservative’ values,” tried to defund palliative care, because he thought it was a death panel.

Also, Cain is one of those creepy gentlemen intellectuals who is obsessed with transgenders and bathrooms ( much like WMAL’s Larry O’Connor and Chris Plante). Cain has repeatedly referred to violence against transgender people as "dudes walking around in dresses getting beat up." Oddly, though, when he was running for state rep, he became the target of an anti-gay flier. The flier (disavowed by Republican primary incumbent opponent Wayne Smith), claimed Cain was "well known to those who frequent Montrose area night clubs and gay bars." (That is where a lot of gay stuff is in Houston.)
