I would have rolled down the window a bit and asked him which hand he jacks off with. When I got the answer I would get out and let him swing or begin the attempted assault. A guy that is this unhinged is very easy to overcome and bring into submission. Then I would slowly break the arm that he uses to jack off with while telling him that's his reminder for the next few months not to fuck with the wrong person.
Once the arm is under control, keep twisting and bending back to damage the tendons and ligaments in the elbow, then snap the humerus quickly to exert a nice greenstick fracture.

You gotta make the call early.
If you are going to shoot him, you need to find that line for him to cross...and you need to stop filming before it goes down. Maybe you film him going apeshit, then cap him if his pussy ass breaks the window...tell the cops he was swearing he was going to kill you when he broke the window etc... had no choice, plus you have some early video to back up his rage. But only one story in the end and that's yours.
