Scary Real Estate Economic Indicators

Work and real estate investments take me all over the country.
I've noticed a huge increase in the quantity of homes for sale in outer suburban areas, large estates and ranches for sale, waterfront and beachfront homes for sale, etc. A little digging into various databases confirms this.
This is usually a key indicator that a major economic downturn is about to hit with some force - based on my numerous decades of experience.
I'm in real estate liquidation mode and very worried I missed the opportunity to get out while the gettin was good.
Anybody else seeing tell tale signs we are in for a world of shit? I mean besides Goatfuckerer2 shitting all over his kitchen counter. That doesn't indicate anything other than severe and irreparable mental and emotional illness.

I'd say it means far more than severe and irreparable mental and emotional illness.
He could have inferior DNA that pre-disposes him to play with his own shit where he eats. He may have brain tumors. His deviant behavior could indicate that he was damaged as a child. Maybe he was adversely impacted by his child age environment and/or had an extremely dysfunctional home life. His parents were probably poor, unemployed, living on welfare and charity. They were probably immoral criminals or illegal aliens with dark skin, different culture, some weird ass religion where raping goats is a spiritual release. We know he will never be assimilated into American values, culture, and language.

OPs indicator is laughable. 08 was a one off event, sure we will get a recession but it's not going to be a housing crisis, it will be something else. Being in the D.C area home prices may fall 10% at most, the nicer areas around here were hardly affected in 08.
