Opinions on Taurus handguns?

I am not a big gun guy but I do like to keep a pistol or two around the house for emergency and I go to the range once or twice a year. I am looking at a Taurus .357. It seems like a nice gun and it's much less expensive that a S&W. Any reason I should avoid the Taurus?

I love my Taurus hand guns! .45 1911, .357, much more affordable and just as lethal!!

Taurus makes great guns. Lower in price yet higher in quality than a S&W.

Yeah, buy that S&W if you want to pay a lot more for a inferior quality gun. Smith and Wesson is a American company. Americans do many things well but making guns is not one of them. Twenty years ago S&W made a quality product but not today.

Buy a taser. Much more manly. It's electric and rechargeable so it is Eco-friendly. No pesky and expensive lead bullets. You can load it with double AA batteries. So simple.

Safest Gun around. Plus, it's the only gun you can safely test on yourself and family members.

In fact, that is the very first thing you should do with it on your family when you get home. Everyone does it. Tazing family members is how to teach Tazer gun safety.

People will pay you money to watch you perform the tazer gun safety test on yourself and your family, friends, even on them.

You can even play fun gun safety trivia games like - guess the Amp setting or what's my Voltage..

If your taser runs on AA batteries it's a toy. If it runs on 9v it's probably a stun gun which is kinda oxymoronic because stun guns require direct contact while tasers shoot prongs as projectiles.

Just don't tie any frail women to chairs and gag them and tase them multiple times.. that's not self defense that's capital murder during the course of torture. Unless of course you're a Fairfax county deputy! Then it's not murder, it's a fun way to get a paid vacation!
