Never Make a Mistake

By Christopher R Rice, Underground America Inc.

Never make any mistakes. You know why? Because Christians will never forgive you, really. Christians will instead hold anything and everything no matter how small, over your head until all hell freezes over. Want to see your permanent record? Look at your family and friends, there's your permanent record. In their eyes they are perfect and have never made any mistakes while you are the scum of the earth who is not even worthy of their attention.

Forgiveness? Forget about it!

When you do make a mistake your family and friends will use it against you and hold it over your head for the rest of your life. What you've made of yourself and how you carry yourself now does not matter in the eyes of family and friends, instead only what happened decades ago will have any meaning or significance. This one, long ago misdeed or event will be blown up and exaggerated to be the single most important thing in their meaningless lives that they cling to and can never forget.

Forgiveness? Forget about it!

There is absolutely no hope for most Christian families or Christians because they only hold hate in their hearts. And absolutely no forgiveness. Christians are always looking for someone to attack, to put down and look down their noses at. It is what it is and you and I can not change Christianity but we can protect ourselves from being abused constantly for no reason other than what happened a long time ago.

Is everyone worthy of forgiveness? I agree with Jesus "if you hurt one of the least of these it would have been better for you to have never been born." Everyone else deserves a second and a third and a fourth chance because God said that our own forgiveness is determined by how much we forgive those who trespass against us. So we will not be forgiven until we forgive.

Wow, let that sink in.

Unfortunately, no matter how much we may want to, no one can change the past. It is only the present that we have any control over. And even in the present the only thing that we really have any control over, is how we react to the bad, the good and the ugly that is life. And either you learn to love life or you will be miserable for ever. But that choice is always yours to make. Hope you've made the right one and can find happiness and not be bitter for ever and ever, Amen.

EDITORS NOTE: Whenever you do make a mistake, regardless how small, be the first to admit it and do not try to blame others for your mistakes. Be the first to right your wrongs and don't pass the buck or pretend like nothing happened. This is the difference between real men and fakes. A real man will admit to his mistakes and correct them, fakes talk the talk but can't walk the walk. Be real, don't be fake.

Interesting read. It is kind of twisted.

On the one hand the writer attacks Christians and parents for not being true to their Christian values - attacking is also an un-Christian value. He ends up saying "Forgiveness forget about it" He can't forgive them for not forgiving him first.

WTF?

And then he goes on to espouse Christian values as if he wasn't being un-Christian in his attack, and his own unwillingness to forgive them first.

And then he goes on to tell you it is a Christian value to forgive yourself, be honest, and be real, not a fake.

But he isn't being honest with himself, because he refuses to forgive them first.

But if you were a fake, and asked forgiveness, and were forgiven by those you wronged but were eventually honest with - would this writer say "Forgiveness, forget about it" ????

As Christians isn't it one of our responsibilities to show error in our fellow Christians? And if you call that an attack, instead of helping you correct your error, who's fault is that?
