I called the credit card company to active my credit card, and the guy was in the philippines. Why can't those jobs come to America? I had to speak with the supervisor to see if he was American but he wasn't..

The companies outsource those jobs to save money. They pay a flat fee with no overhead or benefits. The contractors in turn pay the guy answering your call about .55 cents an hour. You going to work for .55 cents an hour?

Exactly, no American is going to work for $10 A WEEK. You'd be lucky to find an American that would work for $10 an hour.

Activate the credit card on the card issuer's website. Then you do not have to talk with anyone.

This is absolutely normal situation, these guys are working in call centre. What is the issue, I don;t understand? Nowadays everything you can do online and it doesn't matter where you are located right now! For example I've faced several times such a situation when I urgently need money, at least $100. AndI just went online and have chosen the best online payday loans service for me, and haven't thiught about where is it lokated, so it's not an issue at all, as I think.
