Who else uses wipes for that extra clean feeling after taking a dump at work? I do, and my ass is minty fresh and clean as a whistle when I'm done. It's the building landlord's problem to deal with since they give us that cheap, single-ply toilet paper to use.

Some of us own our own homes...
I got snagged once by this .... Once....
Put some warm soapy water in a bowl before you dump..
Moisten the toilet paper with it and it is cheaper and the warm wetness is much better...

There's a better, easier, and more effective method. Just turn on a warm stream of water in the sink, then hop on to the sink with your asscrack directly under the running water. Reach one hand around and rub vigorously. You can use soap or not.
Your TP expenditures will go down dramatically, and your ass will be clean enough to stick in a girl's face (or a guys face if you are female or gay.)

THE ARTICLE IS FAKE NEWS. NO ONE IN USA USES SCUBA FOR THAT (mexico famously has).
IN USA THEY USE HOSES AND PUMPS - which btw have no chance of clogging - zero chance. the hoses can be of any length.

To clean a shit smeared anus, toilet paper is probably the worst invention ever as far as achieving its purpose.
It never really absorbs much of the tarry nastiness, just smears it around a larger area. Plus little pieces of the paper ball up and stick to ass hairs.
A shower isn't always available , the next best thing would be a bidet.
Even the greatest civilizations in history have never figured out how to solve the problem of shit, and everything that gets smeared with it.
