Everyone is cross testimony.
Syria: claims no chlorine gas was used, that it's media propaganda in USA to gain moral high ground for air strike
USA and UK: and indicating russia is responsible (though they never say if munitions are russian or that russia launched)
Russia: says it found a clandestine chlorine gas bomb facility, denies groundless USA allegations
MEANWHILE: chlorine gas was considered cruel to humans, too cruel for use - equivalent to use of nuclear bombs for those effected (though impact to land/area is not as long lived - but has a life no doubt)

NOTE: Geneva convention does not protect 'terrorists' the way it protects 'lawful combatants'. Don't get confused.
To be a lawful combatant you are two parties who one of declared war or attacked, there hopefully was "int'l legal complaints" filed in Geneva beforehand. Both sides would be wearing "proper uniforms" identifying who they are, following all geneva code, and Generals willingly allowing Geneva prosecution of whichever soldiers break the rules
without that: the rules of war are even more nebulous

Geneva Convention (has online website) show that a case has been filed and evidence was submitted and confirmed in trial.

For those of you who didn't KNOW ...
Syria is a supporter of ISIS: who's been doing terrorism ONLY in white areas (europe, USA).
Russia likely hopes to gain (oil futures).
USA is trying to NIP terrorism in the bud - and also for (restored) oil futures one has to guess.
ISIS means: "conquer all of the middle east from africa to asia - a horizontal belt (like an equinox) about the height of texas but much wider". IT'S THE ACTUAL MEANING OF THE TRANSLATED WORD.
ISIS believes it is gaining in the ground war and has NO intention of giving up. they use terrorism to prevent "white people" from interfering with their plans (LET'S FACE IT - they'd have some other excuse for terrorizing if they didn't have that one!)
