Is Trump's dumb ass gonna back down? So far China is winning the trade war. The thing about wars is once you start them, if you lose them, then you lost a war. Maybe that's another lesson Trump will learn.

I was listening to a Wisconsin farmer that voted for Trump saying he 'was hoping it wouldnt come to this' - that Trump was just kidding when he said he would crack down with tariffs. I almost spit my coffee out laughing. These farmers are fucked and they voted for getting fucked. Now they get what they voted for. Should I care?

Trump just said 'there is no trade war' - did he get that information from Steve Douchey?

Not sure this will be readily understood by a self-described batshit retardo, but it is all part of a larger strategy. China already has trade barriers against our businesses and commit outright theft of intellectual property. Past administrations have let them get away with a lot, hoping that more global exposure would pressure them to change their ways, not just in international trade, but also human rights. But that hasn't worked and they have just been taking advantage of us. We need to push back and put pressure on the Chinese. We hold the upper hand in these matters. They have a lot more to lose than we do. They have been waging a low level trade war on us for decades already. These are just the diplomatic steps we need to take to benefit our country as a whole.

The Chinese ruling class is playing a dangerous game here because they desperately need to hide their vulnerability. They are counting on Trump backing down from pressure from his base. But the reality is they are extremely vulnerable and cannot afford any kind of prolonged trade war. The communist party is a tiny minority in China. And they survive by maintaining a defacto system of slave labor. But that is not a secure and stable way to run a country. And the fact is the US holds tremendous leverage on the situation. Trump is not going to back down and the chicoms are in danger of losing everything if their economy goes south.

China use government superfunding to copy USA/Europe patents to makes it's own auto industry.

They never bought Made in USA automobiles to begin with.

China subsidizes / protects the price of it's cars. China isn't allowed to export the cars to USA and I bet if you search you'll find other countries don't allow the cars either.
