This quasar (a black hole emitting energy we can see) is est. 40,000,000,000 SOLAR MASSES
If our milky way galaxy collides into this (it won't), ie instead of ongoing collision with Andromeda galaxy (they say most stars will just miss each other), it will simply "dis-appear", the whole galaxy. That's our universe, delicate as a flower and powerful enough to gobble a whole galaxy in possibly a very energetic day.
how many stars can it eat before it goes big bang?
