The app runs on you guessed it: Android smartphones (ie, samsung or chinese phones)

(these are google / debian / ubuntu hacked cell phones; noting linux really isn't associated with the OS or device it runs on, nor is it monitored by the same people, to be fair. debian was several years ago taken over by a (cartel) of people who used pgp keys to lock out updates from anyone but themselves - they have now also keyed and gotten keys to FreeBSD which WAS a product of California that debian was (stolen really) from (berkeley, a tax funded school at the time))
