How long is your average lunch break at work?

We were having a discussion about this at lunch yesterday. I think most people get an hour but it gets stretched to 90 minutes in real life. With a government job most people have lunch from 11 to 1. How long is your real lunch break?

15 minutes. But then I work with spics and niggers and I have to pick up the slack.

11 to 1

Then there's 1/2 in the am for breakfast

Another 1/2 in the afternoon for a break

At least 1/2 a hour during the day around the coffee pot

The rest of the time I surf the web and personal shop after 15 minutes of answering govt business email

I get almost 200 a month for metro and 6 weeks vacation and 2 weeks sick leave a year, you cant beat the pension I'm going to get either

45 minutes to an hour. Depends where I go, if I'm meeting others or bringing something back to eat at my desk.

It's about the same for me. I have a county car and am expected to work outside the office at times. I used to love going on long drives to kill time but they installed a gps in 2013. I can still cruise around some but not like I used to. I get 12 sick days, 20 vacation days and 13 paid holidays. Thats 9 weeks a year all totalled up.
It's all a trade off though, guys like me in the private sector make a whole lot more money. I have just 5 years till I can retire at 57.

I work for Fairfax GOVT and we are allowed a 44 minutes lunch break.. Why 44 minutes? cause we can write down as 30 minutes.
