California, especially the silicon valley, has the largest income disparity in the entire country.

i asked an viet vet why the power company had a huge open area around it
he said "it's a killing field, like a prison camp has. it's so anyone approaching can be stopped before they do any damage - think how bad it would be if the plant stopped working"
not some few years ago a man killed a few people at a power plant, no damage to plant. workplace violence. security reported they saw him approaching but had failed to take action.
