Congresswoman Gabby Giffords was a staunch conservative and supporter of the Second Amendment. Some mental case shot her in the head, removing a substantial portion of her brain. Thankfully she survived, but became a liberal and anti-Second Amendment activist. Like all Libs, a damaged brain results in idiocy.

You can actually find him on film ranting some looney conspiracies about the govt and how his university was unconstitutional, real Alex Jones level nutjobbery. I don’t think he was political, but if he was, he was sure full of the typical right wing kind of conspiracy garbage.

According to the Guardian newspaper, The tone of Jared Loughner's online writings and videos from immediately before the attack were described as "almost exclusively conservative and anti-government, with echoes of the populist campaigning of the Tea Party movement." He was a Teatard.
And Gabby, a Democrat, While in state government, was certainly not a "conservative." Her work with Mexico, and her studies on Mexico in college displayed a pattern against the then current AZ conservative legislature's unwritten mission.

I don’t know if he was really into teabagger politics, but he was a gun nut who had really angry views about the gold standard, currency manipulation, government mind control, and he got thrown out of a college class for accusing the professor of teaching an “unconstitutional” course. Those aren’t hallmarks of liberalism. He sounded more like a paranoid libertarian on a really bad LSD trip.
