Pretty much this, the dude won 5 games last year and 7 the year before that iirc.
To add insult to injury, he was then replaced by failed Jacksonville qb blaine gabbert who then solidified his starting position in week 1. Kaepernick ought to get used to kneeling down, he's going to be doing that in between sitting on the bench identifying defensive schematics the rest of the season and potentially his entire career.

Kaepernick is a real dude. He should get permanent MVP status. Real Americans support him. He's a real class act. I think he's just great. He's my favorite player! +1 for him! He's awesome! Really great guy. What he's doing is huge. Alot of people are talking about what an amazing thing he's doing. He's making America great again

kaperdick was banging his team mates old lady last year. and his team mate (aldon smith) got all drunk and crashed into kap's fron gate and got arrested and cut from the team. smith had already had some problems with drinking. kap was still the 49er starting qb, and could choose from a million different women but he took his unstable team mate's girl. thats what kind of guy kaperdick is. not to mention all-done smith was the 49er's best pass rusher, so kap really fucked everyone on his team. thats some solid qb leadership. 9ers have been trying to trade him for months, but nobody wants him. cowboys, vikings, browns, all lost their starters and have zero interest.
