Yes, the unnoticed rise of ISIS, the loss of Crimea and part of Ukraine. the red line fiasco, the guarantee of Iran getting a nuclear bomb in the near future, the rise of Taliban due to abandoning Afghanistan, ruining our relationship with close allies, the Libya collapse, failure in Syria so complete Russia had to take over, surrendering the South China Sea....
These are all indeed catastrophic foreign policy failures.

Compare what is going on now with North Korea, China, and the United States with the lead up to World War One.
Serbia wanted a port to send its goods to the rest of Europe without going through Austria, where it was taxed. Serbia signed a deal with Turkey to lease a port, which infuriated the Austrians.
Austria went to Germany (its big brother)for help in getting Serbia to get in line and keep their goods going through Austria. Germany went to Russia (Serbia's big brother) and told them to get Serbia to stop it. Russia sad "No."
In a fit of nationalism, a Serb shot and killed an Austrian Prince, so Germany, for some odd reason to appease the Austrians, declared war on Russia. Then Germany, promised to make (absurdly) Japan part of Europe if Japan helped them.
I am comparing Trump's reliance on China to get N. Korea in line, with Austria's reliance on Germany to get Serbia in line. "What could possibly go wrong?

I really don't know where to begin, but Geo-political agglomeration, international machinations, or US foreign policy, should not be fixed on the opinion of one man posting on a local internet forum.
