There was and is a hole in the ozone, as a result of catalytic destruction of ozone caused by CFCs. Since Republicans weren't insane in the 80s like they are now, the US and other industrialized nations agreed to strictly limit production and use of CFCs, and the problem was addressed.

No one ever said that we would all cook to death. What was said was the surface UV radiation would increase, and that was indeed shown. No one blamed "hateful Republicans", because again, they weren't insane then like they are now.

however: further non-alarmist study from NASA reveals for (reasons) that the chain reaction would not continue to infinity as feared. which does NOT mean it is "not a worry"


nasa did not issue a statement "never worry about CFC". infact they've issued warnings that some (asian) countries are not following any CFC protocols

studies suggest we are heading toward a cool global trend and no where near one of earth's "hot periods" - stated by global warming arctic bubble studiers themselves

not to dismiss: newer studies find that electric motors create ozone (noting more and more are in service) - and studies follow about were this ozone would be and what if any pandemic results would be found due to it

all allot more useful stuff than "if mining is possible on mars", every nation has 5 or more active missions to mars

all of them tits up as far as cash returns
