19-year-old woman worked as a pimp in Virginia Beach, feds say

Over the course of several months last year, a 19-year-old Virginia Beach woman helped pimp at least two other women, according to court documents.
Jasmine Campbell, who turned 20 over the weekend, was arrested Friday on three felonies, including conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking and sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion. A detention hearing is set for today in U.S. District Court.
Court documents outlining the charges reference May, July and August.
Federal investigators say Campbell and her co-conspirators provided the women heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana to get them to have sex with paying clients in area hotels. The conspirators gave the women drugs as rewards and to keep them awake during appointments, documents said.
They also withheld drugs from the women when they did not want to have sex with customers, documents said.
Among other things, Campbell rented hotel rooms and posted advertisements for the women online.
