I know this site. I know not to expect anything good to come from you. I just feel compelled to say this to someone. Anyone.
If it weren't for all the kids who I know look up to me, and my own children... and maybe not wanting to disappoint my parents, I would have killed myself a long time ago. I'm not made for this world.

OP go to someplace private where you are alone and earnestly ask Jesus to reveal himself to you and help you. Do this out loud (not in your mind) Do this and tell him honestly everything which is on your heart about your trouble with the realization of this troubling "fact".
Please at least give this a try and see what happens. Something may not happen instantaneously and it may even take a couple of weeks (like in my case), but I guarantee, if you do this with your whole heart, something wonderful is going to happen.

It only works for people who will admit they aren't perfect (or sometimes far from it) and that they have a need to be forgiven.
