Report: 72 convicted of terrorism from 'Trump 7' mostly Muslim countries

Since 9/11, 72 individuals from the seven mostly Muslim countries covered by President Trump's "extreme vetting" executive order have been convicted of terrorism, a finding that clashes sharply with claims from an appeals court that there is "no evidence" those countries have produced a terrorist.

According to a report out Saturday, at least 17 claimed to be refugees from those nations, three came in as "students," and 25 eventually became U.S. citizens.

The Center for Immigration Studies calculated the numbers of convicted terrorists from the Trump Seven:

— Somalia: 20

— Yemen: 19

— Iraq: 19

— Syria: 7

— Iran: 4

— Libya: 2

You don't "claim" to be a refugee. You either are or you aren't.

No Americans killed by anybody from any of these countries. In addition, if you actually reas her report lots of convictions are not for terrorism. In fact, most of them are not terrorism convictions. Charges include: narcotics, money laundering, conspiracy, immigration fraud, securities fraud and false statements.

No matter the right will cite this fake news without even reading the source. Just like the gullible OP. Nice try, though.

"Most" of them actually are. So the fact that they convicted of "materially aiding terrorism" is irrelevant because they did not personally kill anyone. Glad to know you have such accommodating tolerance. Perhaps most of us don't.

Material support cases are usually pretty weak. Giving a glass of water to someone who later turns out to be a terrorist will support a material support conviction. Almost none are actual terrorists. The list also leaves out their immigration status and country of origin. Only 1 out of the last 25 even has the slightest connection to terrorism. The list is poorly conceived by s political hack, not an expert on terrorism, homeland security, or national security law. You do get credit for reading it though, that's light years ahead of the average FFXU poster.

Yeah? We have people in prison for giving a glass of water to terrorists?

Retarded logic. By your backwards approach, conspiracy to commit murder isn't a crime and anything "attempted but unsuccessful" should not result in a conviction.

So, if he tried to rape your wife but was unsuccessful - that's not really a crime.
