Furthermore. Big ones are not the best. Make sure you have a good shot that will bring the hog down immediately, no wounding, they will run and you fucked up. If its a real big one (over 100lbs) make sure you shoot it in a accessible area to truck/or terrain vehicle or your ass.
My first hog was around 80lbs, had to fuck with the hill, sticks, ticks, snakes and had to drag his ass a couple of miles---No fun when you are dressed wrong and carry a lot of useless hunting shit. Learned a lot stay away from Cabelas, Dicks, and Gander Mountain.
If you be a "city boy" go to the shooting ranch type deals where you pay and they do all the work you just sit in warm blind and shoot and drink a beer. City boys have those nice spec'ed out rifles, go to the range all the time on them still targets but still miss them fast moving hog. You see a pack of them you miss and they are gone...either they are gone or coming after your ass.
