That only creates a clone key. If that's all that you want, then you're good.
Also only works with certain keys which have a chip which can be written to vs those that are read-only where the programming is done in-car (i.e., the computer module generates and stores the code based on a passive key). Walmart, Home Depot, most locksmiths, etc., can only clone not create real new keys.
The clone keys are an exact copy of the single key that you have and will work fine for openning doors and starting. But you cannot use them as a second key to create more keys yourself since it's seen as the same key and the programming steps require seeing two different keys. Won't, for example, be able to create valet keys, store different seat, mirror and other settings for different drivers, etc.
