in poorer times, seeing a "how it's made" episode where some hindu made sandals, i made my own version different but borrowing an idea

+ old chinese flipflop that straps fell off of 1yr of use
+ some canvas from a used paint drop
+ a little bailing wire
+ cheap glue
+ a how it's made video

that's right i quickly made my own sandals that already have lasted over a year and the only thing that will end them is (the glue - cheap - i don't always re-apply it, assuming i no longer needed them. i find that might not be true: i may still need them)

WTF are you drinking?

and sneakers from HS that were used for mowing that couldn't be pulled apart by a washer machine or even pliers?

I will gladly pay quite a bit more for US-made stuff, IF my extra money is actually buying some freakin' quality.

Can you make Air Jordans?

Some time in the early 1990's, athletic shoes started being made from some kind of synthetic rubber that degraded and literally crumbled. This happened with 2 pairs of Nikes, and also a pair of Clarks casual shoes.

Then about a year ago I noticed that all dress shoe manufacturers had abandoned leather soles. To get leather soles, you need to spend > $250 (on sale). All the less expensive ones have cheaped out for man-made soles.

Are these quality shoes?

1/2 the reason the make-shift sandals wear well is because they borrowed heal and toe leather, borrowed from italian shoes

i just inspected the shoe - not one but both were fully 1/2 separated from soul

i bought them because they appeared "utilitarian", the shoes have thick tire like looking souls and (home depot class) straps

i find they are engineered to fail

there is plain carboard paper in between the soul and upper, the cardboard was not saturated in glue, a little wetness had caused it to become soggy and so the souls separated

no reasonable shoe maker would put plain paper hardly glued to hold a shoe upper to shoe soul (both of all souls mind you no mistake). some sew them (ie, 1980's Nike converse puma et al), while others used glue the glue had lasted much longer (ie, like muck boots - you never see the souls of those come off).

i find the shoe was made to peel apart just after warrantee - another product from china meant to fill the landfills and make america mad

wasting precious little time i have to get some things done to make life livable before the sun, which is always advancing, sets

did you check if they are actual work sandals? half the time I find these problems come down to user error.

it may be from afghanistan or india and they used the label china to hide their assult on usa

i would not bet 2 cents that the chinese are involved in such a low as hell crime

cardboard is made of cellulose, inclosed in a dark pocket, which presents A MOLD ISSUE (eats anything made of cellulose, ie wood), which is even worse a hazard than smelly footwear

Hi. I’ve been running in various versions of the Nike Free since 2010. Now i bought running trend Nike Free Trainer 5.0, a shoe that offers the benefits of free running. The Nike Free 5.0 has consistently been one of the best selling athletic shoes in USA . Here`s i bought good model jonsguide. Nike Free Trainer 5.0 very good, but i not see the Free 5.0 is at a running race.
