That means the bipartisan show of support she has now β€” thanks to Donald Trump and the β€œalt-right,” conspiracy-driven campaign Clinton attacked Thursday in Reno, Nevada β€” is likely to evaporate as soon as the race is called. If she wins the presidency, Clinton would likely enjoy the shortest honeymoon period of any incoming commander in chief in recent history, according to Washington strategists, confronting major roadblocks to enacting her ambitious agenda, as well as Republican attacks that have been muted courtesy of the GOP nominee.

If the Senate flips Democratic, and the Dems pick up a lot of seats in Congress, the Republicans are going to be in a tough spot to block everything and remain a viable party. American demographics are changing and not in favor of Republican obstructionism.

Republicans need a long term winning strategy instead of a short term obstructionist strategy. Bipartisanship over brinksmanship. Show the people they can work with Democrats and get the Government working for the country again.

Agreed the republican congress didn't get shit done. In fact they screwed up and impeded any possible progress for the US.

Why? Because they didn't want anything good to happen when Obama is president.

Hey republicans... the idea is make America a great country, not block any progress.
