Democrats aren't very democratic

Bernie Sanders has received 55,000 more votes than Hillary Clinton in all of the primaries and caucuses held thus far.

Despite that big lead in votes, Bernie trails Hillary in the delegate count by a substantial margin. Hillary has 503 delegates to Bernie's 70.

Presidential elections are controlled by the Constitution. Not even Al Gore can get around that. This sham of a primary process is controlled by the party.

Superdelegates dont count until the convention. I dont know whats so difficult to understand about that.

At the Democrat's convention superdelegates will account for more than 15% of all of the votes cast. They are not bound by the votes in their home state. Most have committed their votes to Hillary Clinton at this point.

The Republican Party has superdelegates, too, but they have a lot less power. GOP superdelegates are only about 7% of the nominating vote, and according to Republican convention rules, superdelegates must vote in accordance with their state primary outcomes.

Debbie Wasserman Shultz even admitted that the Democratic Party's superdelegates exist to preserve the power and influence of the Democratic Party's elite. Well that makes perfect sense -- if you're, say, the inherently elitist, pro-big business, rich Republican Party. But not if you're supposed to be the party that protects the interests of regular Americans.

superdelegates won't do shit but fall in line with the peoples choice. let it happen then complain. superdelegates are irrelevant. They were for Hillary the last time too, overwhelmingly, then the public supported Obama and they all came over to reflect the will of the people. Even though it was very uncertain whether a black man could be elected president.

Actually, Hillary won the popular vote in 2008. She even won the popular vote in NV but got fewer delegates.
