Contrary to the hyperbole and histrionics of our Democrat Congress and the media, Republicans should resist any nominee from Obama. Some will argue and label opposition as "obstructionism" or worse. This is not the case historically or truthfully. Democrats have fought hard against Republican nominees for years, as it is their right and duty to do so.

A president who lies to the American people should never be rewarded, nor should his personal judgment for a lifetime appointment be trusted. President Obama has lied multiple times to the American people. He has lied about "if you like your plan, you can keep your plan". He has lied about his intention to stop the "revolving door" of lobbyists in politics. He has lied about not signing bills containing earmarks and he has lied about having an open and transparent administration.

Confirming a nomination from Obama will most likely mean confirming another leftist extremist such as Sonya Sotomayer or Elena Kagan. America cannot afford to risk putting legal decisions involving affirmative action, personal property or the Second Amendment in the hands of Obama rubber stampers.
