"Dems in Senate passed a resolution in 1960 against election year Supreme Court appointments"

Shit works both ways, not just when you are in power.

Great but this is not a recess appointment.

S.RES. 334, “Expressing the sense of the Senate that the president should not make recess appointments to the Supreme Court, except to prevent or end a breakdown in the administration of the Court’s business.”

So please try again. Anyway, it wont matter. The GOP will be exposed when the Dems win and they still wont approve a nomination. Another record obstruction will go on the books for Republicans. Congrats.

libs call the democratic process obstruction. They rather bow to a dictator and be slaves than practice liberty like Americans.

Checks and balances and the lib checks have bounced.

Yhe people elected our beloved president twice by over a hundred electoral votes. Republican thug McConnell came out and showed absolute disrespect to thw presidency minutes after Scalia died by dismissing Obamas Constitutional duty.

Republicans are tyrannical thugs whom are now shutting down the supreme court too.

GOP in congress were elected too. Dems had both houses until they abused their power cramming obamacare down our throats. The American people responded. We do not want a tyrannical president. Only libtards embrace tyranny.

There is no supreme court until the justice is replaced. All rulings will depend on circuit court rulings. Technically if this lasts long different regions or states may have different Constitutional rights.

Heres another example. Bob Mcdonnell our former Republican governors appeal was denied by a lower court. He appealed to the supreme court and was hoping on Scalia to bail him out. Now even if the court took his case it would be split and go with the lower courts ruling. Scalia not being replaced seals McDonnells fate in federal prison. Thats the small shit though. The effects of shutting down the supreme court will have weekly consequences of great significance.

8 judges can still get the constitution right. but it takes a majority of libtards to twist it into a radical left-wing agenda. that what you're so butthurt about?

"There is no supreme court until the justice is replaced."

News to me! Maybe you better research that, cuz you don't know WTF you're talking about, which is normal for you.

"The effects of shutting down the supreme court will have weekly consequences of great significance."

Where do you get this shit? That's dumb, even for you!

All obama has to do is pick a reasonable judge and republicans will have no choice but to confirm. but we all know obama will choose a radical libtard who hates the constitution as much as he does. and then they will have no right to betray the people who elected them by confirming. you see how that works? no, probably not.

I believe I asked you some pointed technical questions in the thread above. You didn't answer them. Why?

Stop mentally masturbating here over some process that you think is going to gain you something or it's the end of the world. It isn't.

the problem with libtards like Gerry and Obama, they just want to ram their shit sandwich down everyone else's throat. there's no reason in them. obama started out with both houses of congress and then first chance America got dems lost the house, because leadership is not about cramming your agenda down the peoples' throat. its about everybody's president and working with people who disagree with your views, a totally foreign concept for obama. obama's attitude to roughly half this country has been "fuck you, elections have consequences". its fucking childish. this is his legacy, hyper-partisanship and distrust of politicians. and we are absolutely right to distrust him.
