I'm The Gaylords, dude. Come on. I posted a thread with an overly long subject line...but my understanding is that subject lines don't mess up the formatting, overly long poster names do. And I also posted a very large jpeg of a Titian painting in that thread....I didn't realize honestly how huge the file was. I wondered why it was taking forever to post.


I guess that finally got Cary's attention. And his rebuttal to my rebuttal following his deletion of the thread in question explains the rest.

Threads that intentionally mess up formatting, floods, and total garbage is removed from my cell phone. Nothing is ever truly "deleted" here, simply hidden. When I moderate from my cell phone the entire thread is often removed until I fix the (major) underlying issue. The "fixed" thread is often re-instated shortly after.

WITH THAT SAID, I find your threads to be complete garbage. You have repeatedly evaded bans and I will delete any and all of your posts as I see fit. The thread you're complaining about could also be classified as a personal attack, which is also against the rules.

If you want a guarantee that your posts won't be deleted post something LEGITIMATE and ON-TOPIC.

Future attempts to evade bans will result in all of your posts being automatically deleted.

In discussion board parlance, "ban" usually equates to permanent ban.

Not so at Fairfax Underground.

Cary's bans are temporary, a week to a month, longer for repeat offenders.

So far as I know he's never permanently banned anyone.

By his remarks on the other thread, he effectively stated he has no intent to permanently ban you.

You should be clear on that before you stroll off into the sunset.

how would I know when it's okay to post again? What if I started posting one day before he planned to un-ban me? How would I know I was premature, breaking the rules? Don't the rules need to be stated first before you can break them? I never knew the rules. He never gave me the common decency of LAYING DOWN THE RULES. If I don't know your rules, I'm going to keep going by my own. It's perfectly simple.......if Cary Grant had been a decent human being from the get-go and told me in explicit language why I was banned and for how long, I would have obeyed those rules. He didn't, so I went by my own rules. Show me, don't blow me. You have to tell me what and why before I pay you any attention. That's how I roll. I don't know how the juvenile delinquent IT crowd does things....

You are undermining Cary's authority. Nobody can be banned by accident... One day your ip is banned. One month later your ip is no longer banned. That was your ban.... Don't wait for an explanation from the admin.
