Old Fashioned Meade Thanksgiving

My wife is off to the grocery store in a few minutes to pick up some last minute items. With my WWMD (What Would Meade Do) guiding light, what should I have her pick up so we can have a "Old Fashioned Meade Southern Thanksgiving" dinner?

I already have on the menu sweet tea, gravy and biscuits, pecan pie, and honey buns, in honor of Meade (from the great "Fat No More" video). What else should I have my wife pick up?

Have you hired a colored woman to do the cooking, serving, and cleaning up?

Donuts about 2 dozen, 5 cakes made into a turkey, plenty of foolish pilgrim hats to wear for the folks who are dressing as Pilgrims, feathers for the Indians, Thanksgiving day balloons to run around the yard with,

I like the balloon idea and the Pilgrim hats. Gold! It is going to be a wonderful "Meade Thanksgiving" in my house! Off to Giant to get balloons and hats!

Does Meade pull out his Injun garb to wear for Thanksgiving dinner?

Also, make sure you set a place for "Imaginary Girlfriend Sarah," just like they do at the Hauffe homestead.

I put a sweater on the back a chair at the table setting and keep telling my other guests that Sarah is in the bathroom.

I'm sure the Skelton-Haufe klan goes through lots of wine.

Hard liquor too if meade decides to sit down at the piano and sing.

In the bathroom for a log period of time? Do you also tell them Sarah is bulimic?

Don't need to.
Everyone who knows Meade knows something will be terribly wrong with anyone who would want to date him.
Bulimia is the least of his worries.

Great idea!

For my Meade inspired Thanksgiving Feast next year I will get a confederate flag table runner.

Not all Salvation army bell ringers are volunteers.

Meade could easily dress like Santa and earn minimum wage.

Sure only Fags, drunks and criminals become bell ringers.

But Meade fits into at least one of those categories.

And now that he has lost most of his hair, the white wig will fit better.

But he has put on at least 50 lbs in the last few months.
I'm thinking an ordinary Santa suit is going to have to be let out at the seams to allow for his newly reacquired girth.
