Well his teeth are improving. I hope he does get to be on TV soon because I know he would be a hit!

His hair is falling out at an alarming rate, I hope he doesn't shampoo with Lye soap or Borax. On the flip side Meade is not one to party, he likes a relaxing evening watching classic TV favorites like "MaMa's Family", "Lassie", "The Travels of Jamie Mcfetters", "Davey and Goliath" and "Petticoat Junction". Nashville is one of those crazy places where he figures he might get into trouble with the Lord.

Meade does not seem to fit into the contemporary anything scene.

He has lost some weight and his skin looks really nice. I hope he doesn't have an underlying medical issue. rapid hair loss like that is usually an indicator of health.

He claims to have "alopecia areata" a disease that causes hair loss, alopecia universal is complete hair loss 100% of the body, both are just a "cosmetic" disease and are not serious, (you won't die from it). People who had that disease include Humphrey Bogart, Christopher Reeve, many intellectual people seem to get it and they always associate it with "Mad Scientist" like Lex Luthor and other Popular culture bad guys . Usually the person who acquires the disease has a above average IQ sometimes very smart.

Meade will claim to have any disease if it helps him look sympathetic and fits his god awful looking photos.

The truth is something he cannot bear.
He is a thirty-something ne'er-do-well who would rather sit on his fat-ass than do an honest day's work.

Of course, he doesn't want to go to Nashville.
Nashville is full of working musicians who have more talent and a far greater work ethic than Meade. All of them are actually getting off their duff and playing music even after working an 8 hour day job..

None of this once a month, I will do a coffee house for a few hours BS that Meade thinks is 'pounding the pavement'....

Taylor Swift aint gonna send a Limo to Meade to do a duet just because he is Meade.

Meade is just a waste of a human life...

I can see him at the Grand Ole Opry someday if he plays his cards right. Meade has strong talents and he has the ability to diversify into other themes. The problem with Meade is that he is lackadaisical and has little ambition, he does not want it that much. Too bad because the good Lord has given him much talent. He is the "John Lennon" behind the Meadow Street Band, he has the drawing power that brings in the crowds but he does not exploit it.

If Meade ever drew a crowd it is to be gawked at.

Or perhaps a dozen or so concerned citizens calling 911 thinking he is having a seizure of some point...

I was sitting in the coffee shop the other day conversing with the regulars and the conversation turned to Meade. Seems like Meade has quite a number of followers amongst the senior folk. Most were perplexed because of Meade's inability to further his career, the consensus being that perhaps he needs a little more "seasoning", a little more exposure time. He needs to book more appearances at local events and festivals, right now he is happy with 5 or 6 monthly gigs. That won't do it, it has to be like a full time job.

Meade is better looking than most people who post on FFXU. They are jealous.
He is also more talented.

What does Meade do with his time?

I can almost understand the foregoing a regular career to focus on music if one actually produced a decent amount of music.
Grammy winner Lucinda williams worked as a waitress and book store clerk through her 20s and most of her 30s doing just that

But Meade has been doing nothing but working on his musical career for at least 15 years and what does he have to show for it?

A small handful of songs..... a half a dozen gigs at coffee houses and street festivals....

Has anyone ever paid admission to a Meade Skelton gig?

He's all upset over that? I know a lady at work with hair much thinner than Meades and she actually is a working member of society rather than sponging of her old man. He needs to stop complaining and self pity party. Its not gonna do him any favors.

Meade would do fine as a bodyguard for say a guy like Trump. He has the size and can be intimidating at times, he once blew up all over a fellow competitor shouting at her: "I'm the best singer in Richmond!" when he lost out to her.

He puts out an old Mason jar for tips and I think he gets a free lunch and maybe $50 for his time, sometimes, on a good draw, he will garner $20 in change as tips. $70 to $100 is a good score, considering he has to drive sometimes for hours to reach the gig.
