There was a comic that came out in the very early 90s about a robot uprising. I can't remember the name of that comic.

It was called Terminator.
They made it into a movie and then a movie franchise.
The lead actor in the film, some Austrian guy with a speech impediment, was married to a Kennedy and fucking his ugly maid on the side and had an illegitimate kid with her during the film shoot for Terminator 3 - Rise of the Machines.
That guy was a Republican family values sort of person - you know "Fuck the Help". He became Governor of California. California is now broke, out of water, and most of the sate is on fire.

Very funny, but this comic was similar to the plot out of one of the segments in Animatrix.
The robots were all houseservants and waiters, etc. Society became decadent and completely dependent on the robot servants. I wish I could remember the name.
