Not sure how they do it down there in Richmond, but a few years back my neighbor appealed a one-year-suspended sentence from General District Court. The Circuit Court Judge made believe that the previous trial never happened, conducted a whole new trial, lasted four hours. Found him guilty, sentenced him to 12 months, with 11 months suspended, and the sheriff took him directly to jail.

Be careful what you wish for.

an appeal is for someone who believes a mistake was made in court.



not for an idiot who basically pleads guilty, gets found guilty and then gets mad about it and goes and appeals.


the courts will be so fucking sick of seeing him, having him waste their time they are going to raise his fee and sentence him to some of that jail time.
