Converting to the metric system.

Really?

I happen to agree that we should make the switch, but really? Of all the issues on the table that the chief executive of our nation needs to address he chooses the metric system. Just more Democrat clown show antics.

I remember when I was a grade school shit and Jimmy Carter was pushing for metrics. I figured it would be a done deal by the 80's.

I would like to convert too, except for miles and pounds, I would like to keep those- too used to them.

Lincoln Chaffee was the only Republican (he later converted to Dem) to vote against the Iraq War. I think his forsight deserves a little credit compared to Hillary who never seems to get shit right and always blames others.

Metric should be taught in schools but there's no practical reason to just convert. There's nothing wrong with using miles or Fahrenheit in every day usage. Businesses that need to use metric already do, and there's nothing to gain by just switching.

Oh yeah, and fuck Celsius temperatures too. They really bug the shit out of me and I can never get used to it.


Farenheit is the way to go. I really need more steps and increments.
