I have the AIMPOINT MICRO T1 2MOA and EOTECH 556. Now the AIMPOINT MICRO T2 is available. Very little difference but shape and lens coating. I can find the T2 for around $761.00 and the T1 runs about $100.00 cheaper now. It would make a nice christmas present to myself. My T1 is still solid, it has 126 hog kills to its credit and still kicking.

If all you're doing with it is shooting paper at the range then you don't need a $1,200 Jena-Zeiss/Docter or Zeiss either. The one red dot they do have is an open reflex sight which I don't think that they even make. It's a fragile little toy that's the exact same design as a hundred other inexpensive open reflex sights. No reason to buy theirs with more markup other than trying to impress yourself with the name. The glass will make zero difference in that design. Get some dirt or debris on the LED and it doesn't work. Get in bright sun and you can't see it. It's a me too product that they make that's nothing at all special.

Now if you want a nice hunting scope in a higher power where good glass matters then it may be worth spending the money for one of theirs or another higher end competitor's scopes.

In addition to hunting I shot 3-position, bullseye, 3-gun, and benchrest competitively for many years so I've probably spent more time actually looking through them than you have in the basement reading about them on the Interwebs where you find all of your pics. lmao
