Incredible......Hogan wins in Maryland.

This one was astounding.....even considering the close race right across the river in VA. It is rare for Maryland, especially in the Montgomery/PG/Baltimore area, to elect a statewide Republican....except for Bob Erlich's fluke-victory a number of years ago.

Not to mention that Hogan's ticket was also mixed race, as his running mate, Boyd Rutherford, is black.

People are tired of the high taxes in Maryland. It remains to be seen if Hogan is a RINO, and seeing as how his good buddy is Chris Christie, I suspect it's a high probability.
