No reason to keep her body alive, and I doubt all the money the family has raised on GoFundMe will be used on the daughter.

Yeah, there is no bringing her back. Her family is caught up in religious beliefs thinking that some higher power will bring her back, but it won't. It's not like she is in a coma, she is dead. It's kind of sick to keep her heart pumping and lungs working on machines at this point.

What is the point in keeping her alive? So her parents can sit by her bedside and stare into her lifeless eyes? So she, or rather, her corpse can siphon resources and money away from people who might have a chance?

I suppose their lawyer advised the parents to keep her on life support as long as possible to cash in on a larger pay day when they go sue anyone and everyone involved.

The hospital's lawyers are better paid...plus since Shivo, they all have planned for something like this. No one is getting rich, but the lawyers.

They want to keep her alive because they aren't paying for her care. That's you and me, the taxpayers. I am a nurse and I see this all the time. Black people always want to blame the healthcare system when something happens to them and try to get free stuff from the "system". Its their fault. They should have fed her healthier foods and then she wouldn't have been so obese that she needed sleep apnea surgery.
