Before he started his pathetic speech, I told my wife, who made me vote for this asshole the second time (I confess it was on my own volition in 2008) "He better say we're at war with a bunch of Islamic terrorists or I'm going to devote the rest of my life talking shit about this stupid fucking asshole AND I'm going to re-register as a Republican which I changed a few years back under the spell of your pussy."

They have to do with the pipeline the US wants to run from Qatar to Turkey by way of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Syria. Qatar has about 3x the gas supplies of the US and could supply Europe for 50 years. Turkey is a transit hub for oil & gas from Central Asia and the Middle East.

You need some basic English. Check your public school education at the door please. -ic would indeed be an adjectival form but it would be derived from the the noun Islam. -ism would be the practice/process of the noun, Islam.

Well, it's happening.
There's now a movement in the media to stop calling "ISIS" and "ISIL" by
their names and instead call them something else that doesn't o-f-f-e-n-d
the Islamic religion. It was on CNN this morning which means by now MSNBC
has already adopted it as a core policy.
I'm certain the President will make an announcement in the next several days
saying "We're no longer going to call ISIL by their name "ISIL" because
their name which stands for the "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" has
nothing to do with Islam, as I explained to you all in my address to the
nation last week. Instead we're going to call the people we're not at war
with, but are dropping bombs on, "George Bush's Fault."
"Now if you will excuse me, I have to release another five terrorists from
Gitmo."
