Those are meaningless numbers, crude estimates at best, but most likely just fabrications. Schools don't disclose information like that, for a variety of legal reasons.

George Bush is not stupid, but by any objective account, he is intellectually lazy, disinterested in learning, bored by nuance, and woefully ignorant in many, many areas.

Turned down by the University of Texas, Austin, he attended Yale as a Legacy (admitted because a parent is an alumus) and Harvard because the Ivies look after their own. An indifferent student by his own admission, he was not accepted by UT Austin's Law School -- curtailing, one would imagine, what would have otherwise been an outstanding career at the Bar!

He really had no business being President, and severely damaged the "Bush brand"; which is a shame, because his brother Jeb would likely have made a good President. Jeb, however, was unwilling to be molded and repackaged in the image of "Dear Decider" by Karl Rove and company. Too much integrity, I guess.

Patrol Torpedo (PT) boats were considered among the most glamorous tours in the 2nd World War. Many of the Skippers, including Lt. (jg) Kennedy, had grown up sailing.

Kennedy's PT boat was hit by a Japanese Destroyer and broke apart during combat operations in the Solomon Islands.

George Bush was trained to fly an obsolete figher, the F-102, in the Texas Air National Guard, guaranteeing he would never serve in Vietnam.

If you're bright, you will never bring up these kind of comparisons again.

You need to brush up on your history before you commit yourself, they used F102s in Vietnam, quite a few pilots lost their lives flying them.

Google "History of the F-102" for correct info.

They did indeed. F-102s were phased out in 1968, however, and that was the year Mr. Bush joined the Texas Air National Guard. Hence my point about the aircraft he was trained to fly assuring he wouldn't go to Vietnam. George the first, nobody's fool, saw to that.

No president or presidental candidate has ever released his or her transcripts, including George W. Bush. Bush's were unintentionally released in 2004 as part of his National Guard records which he provided to the media as proof that he had not gone AWOL and had in fact completed his military commitment. His transcripts were there, but the grades had been blacked out.

In his Guard records are notations about his SAT scores, showing a combined math and verbal of 1206. Since the average SAT score in the mid 1960s would have been about 980 combined, his score is respectable, but hardly top 5% -- the scale was maximum 800 on both math and verbal sections, for a combined 1600.

But here's the thing to keep in mind. In the 1960s, SAT prep classes were all but unheard of. The average public high school student just went and took them.

Mr. Bush, however, graduated from Phillips Academy, an extremely exclusive all-male prep school in Massachusetts. Phillips took a lot of money from the parents of it's students, and essentially guaranteed that little Trey and Topper would get into the best schools. A lot of prep school prep work went into Bush's scores.

Kennedy pulled more boners than Bush, he endorsed the bloody coup of the South Vietnam President, He practically caused a Nuclear War just by being President by projecting himself as weak leader (the soviets saw this in him and equipped Cuba with missiles, something they would never attempt if Reagan was in).
