Why is CNN so hostile to the police?

Watching a CNN story about how TX police pulled over a woman with kids, thinking it was an armed group that they were seeking. It seemed like an honest mistake, and video showed officers being nice and reassuring to the kids. Why is this a story? Why is CNN trying to turn Michael Brown into an American hero?

CNN knows what gets good ratings. That's why they tried their damnedest to keep the Ferguson riots going. That's the only way they get any viewers.
