details of hot air baloon crash

Autopsy results say the older woman and the 'pilot' of the hot air balloon died of blunt injuries, meaning they died from the fall. The 24 year old airhead preferred to be burned alive as her cause of death is acute thermal injuries. They were smart enough to jump, spare themselves the pain, she apparently was too stupid to realize that burning alive is no fun. a stereotypical end, adding insult to injury.

Or was burned to death immediately in the explosion.

Acute thermal injuries indicate a slow, prolonged passing as opposed to shrapnel and concussive symptoms associated with injuries for an explosion.

Thanks for playing dum-dum

You are assuming too much, it doesn't mean she was conscious when she died.

Being burned to death doesn't hurt that much. You lose feeling and consciousness pretty quickly.

Are these going to be closed casket funeral services?

As marginally attractive as the blonde is in the pic, being burned to a crisp, I cant imagine enhancing her asthetics.

apparently the blonde was the only one unlucky enough not to fall out of the basket. 4th of july barbeque came early for her. this going to be tough for her family and friends to digest

There may have been a struggle for the passengers to get out of the burning basket and she may have been in the worst position. I would've expected there to be a rope ladder, which at that height wouldn't have made a difference.

You have three people caught in a situation where there are not good options, only a choice of bad ones. Stay or jump there is an overwhelming probability you will die. You are essentially choosing how you will die. Some can handle that, some can't, and the choice that is made may not make sense to the rest of us.

When I have the choice...I'm going with burning to death. You pass out before you die...

Jump. Hope you go out-of-body at time of impact, if not just before.

I imagine there is a short period of intense pain. If youve ever had aeven a small burn they hurt like hell.

I saw a video of a guy being burned by an angry mob in Nigeria (all niggers) and it took that guy a long time to die. He would burn for awhile, try to get up, someone would knock him down and he would burn some more. It wasnt quick or painless if you ask me. He finally just stopped moving but it was at least a couple minutes.
