The U.S., Virginia and Fairfax County flags are being flown at half-staff in honor and respect of Peace Officers' Memorial Day. The flags will remain at half-staff until sunset.

Police officers deserve more credit, especially when they die in the line of duty. Can you imagine the everyday stress of being a DC police officer or NYPD?
