Have you ever noticed that a lot of fast-food logos look the same? Well there might be a reason for that.

You may have noticed many of the logos contain red, yellow or orange. According to famouslogos.com, these colors subconsciously spark your appetite and entice you to spend more money.

Famouslogos.com also reports that research supports the claim that people consume more food in rooms that are painted in warmer colors, including - also - orange, yellow and red.

For those who remain skeptical, try naming the mainstream restaurants who do not contain one of those three colors in their logos.

That's half the fucking rainbow there, of course you'd be hard pressed to find a chain that doesn't include them.

WTF do you want them to use? Black, Blue, Green? Of course they use bright colors.

Was there a need for this topic to be in both forums?

All companies use human psychology in their marketing/branding, this is nothing ground breaking or new.

The article constitutes an entire half of the color wheel. Basically, they use bright colors and not dark colors. Why would you want to use a dark color?

Most of these logos are lit up at night time with florescent bulbs behind them. Their logo's would illuminate more at night with lighter colors.

There's no reason to believe there is any ulterior motive.

Taco Bell's logo originally was yellow and orange. They changed the colors. It still have red in it.

Taco Bell is a part of Tricon under Yum Brands Inc. So is KFC and Pizza Hut. They're all owned under the same umbrella.

Taco Bell is a part of a conglomerate.
