We had homos in my unit. They weren't open about it but everyone knew. They were some fierce Mike Foxtrots. I think they had a death wish. The opposite of what you might think, they didn't hunker down and were the usually the first to leave cover. As long as they left everyone alone (and they did), none of the rest of us cared. Course, they weren't the flamers you see around these parts.
