More Democrat Corruption with Obamacare

Democrat Senator Udall’s office pushed back hard on number of health care cancellations

At the height of controversy surrounding President Obama’s promises on the federal health care overhaul, U.S. Senator Mark Udall’s office worked assiduously to revise press accounts that 249,000 Coloradans received health care cancellation notices. Because the 249,000 figure was produced inside the Colorado Division of Insurance, Udall’s office lobbied that agency to revise the figure, or revise their definition of what qualified as a cancellation.

I like that "or revise their definition of what qualified as a cancellation": reminds me of a former president saying, "It all depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is."

This sort of reminds me of how the unemployment number calculation process was "revised." Adding a part time job still counts as a "1" just like a full-time job. WTF? Something with that math just doesn't add up.

So if you have a part-time job, you should be considered unemployed?

Probably not, but it should not be considered full-time either, especially if that's what you want / need. It's pretty much under-employment, which is counted in the U-6. Right now that stands at 13.1%.

And really, we should be looking at the labor force participation rate anyhow. That shows how many people are working, and right now, it ain't good.
