It depends. If it's in the dead of winter - yes (or at least it has been for the last 3 years). It does a remarkable job keeping one warm.

I couldn't grow a beard if my life depended on it. When I don't shave for a while, I start to get a natural goatee. I just keep a short growth mustache, that's about it. Even if I'm in Afghanistan, that'll have to cut it (Or I'll just have to walk around with a masked turban all the time).

My beard story:

Once, during this BIG party in my apartment, I was checking the bathroom, making sure the mirrors were still in place (f you know what I mean) when I noticed this tiny whisker on my chin.

I completely freaked out, pulling open drawers and cabinets like a lunatic.... throwing things to the floor until I found a pair of tweezers. I removed the errant whisker like one would a roach invading a kitchen sink.

The little whisker never returned; it wouldn’t dare.

I grew a beard once a summer ago while hiking the appalachian trail. Itchy as a mother fucker and Im never doing that again. Oh yeah and Im a fire crotch too. GINGERS HAVE SOULS!
