You've made an interesting observation. Also, why does it cost $275 for a college Accounting book? The professors then decide to change editions every year so the used book market has basically collapsed. Actually, that's how Barnes and Noble got their start 30+ years ago. They were sticking it to the students back then, and now they're sticking it to their customers.
