While Old Lady is Gerrymanderer2, there is a twist. Old Lady is actually a whole different personality within Gerry. Heck, he might be like Sybil and carry about 26 different personalities for all we know.

I guess multiple personality disorder would be covered under the ACA as a pre-existing medical issue, so Gerry should be fine. But, I'm curious. Who does the doctor indicate on the medical charts as the name for this patient? Does he / she indicate the name of of the personalities, or does Gerry have a half-dozen medical folders with that particular doctor, or one for each personality?

Old Lady, Just like Gerrymanderer2, your simplicity is also easily detected. Both of you suffer from the same anger derangement syndrome. I'm not sure if there is even a treatment for it yet. I do think that for this syndrome, they would lock people in mental institutions and keep them heavily medicated to subdue the effects. Then again, this would have been in the 1970s and early 1980s ... just before most institutions were closed and the nut jobs were sent out to the streets.

I think Old Lady and Gerrymanderer2 both are quite easy to diagnose as having this disorder. Unfortunately, there really isn't a med that can be prescribed to treat the effects of the disease, so all of us tend to suffer when either of these posters (posers) open up their trap.

Unfortunately, Gerrymanderer2 and Old Lady tend to hang out here on the forum when the Lamb Center is closed.
