Lindsey Graham and the GOP

I see Lindsey Graham on the news now, and I almost feel sorry for him. He's a fairly decent guy for a republican, not insane like Cruz, Lee, etc., and he's got a 2014 primary to face in SC, so now he has to say every crazy teabag thing he can to survive it. In the South Carolina republican primaries, you can come out for slavery and get net votes.

True. But then again, it seems the GOP is hoist on its own petard. Years of dedicated gerrymandering have left a number of districts pretty much bullet-proof, so good luck getting rid of the entrenched tea party guys who come from them. I honestly don't see how the GOP is gonna rid themselves of its more extreme elements, although I think it's hugely important that they do so.

I feel bad for him because he has that faggoty drawl.

Okay, I don't really feel bad for him.

Geez you are one stupid fuck. The "Tea Party" has been around for 3 years. Gerrymandering benefits both republicans and democrats. In Maryland, there are ZERO republicans in congress, yet at least 40% of the state votes republican. Pretty much the same in California.

Extreme to you liberal idiots = reducing the deficit/no more bailouts/no more massive government programs to try and fix a problem that can't be fixed with a massive government program. That's all the Tea Party was about.

Uh, did I say 'Tea party gerrymandering'? Or that 'only Reps do it'? I think you responded to some other post.

Near as I can tell, the Tea Part is 'all about' whatever the Koch brothers are all about. The rest are low-level stooges being used by a couple of rich brothers to advance their own agenda. It is interesting, however, to hear what you and others think you're 'all about', but that don't make it so.

Lindsay Graham and McConnell and Orin Hatch are Old School Republicans. All these guys care about is business. The real GOP is about stopping Obamacare, cutting government, freeing America from the baby killers, and keeping America for Americans.

The new GOP will kick these old geezers to the curb and take back America!!!!!

The Tea Party is #1 when it comes to freedom.

You know when you see a Koch brother conspiracy everywhere, you are about as sensible as those you hold contempt for. Your parroted talking points about a couple of obscure bogeymen is ridiculously stupid.

Since when does 'in the Tea Party agenda' mean 'everywhere'? And who the hell said I was less contemptible than the Tea Party guys? Be careful about your assumptions, Wows.

It is amusing to be accused of 'parroting talking points' by a tea partier. Full disclosure: I'm not a fellow tea party guy.

There is one Republican from Marylands Congressional delegation.

He's Andy Harris, a Tea Party favorite who represents the Eastern Shore.
