Im beginning to think Senator Paul Rand is just itching to get us into a true religious war.

At an annual meeting of social conservatives, a new wave of Republican senators auditioned Friday before prominent activists and religious leaders, deriding President Barack Obama's health care law and his handling of the economy and foreign policy.

Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky said U.S. foreign policy needed to stop a "war on Christianity."

Don't believe it, he's a libertarian isolationist. He was just trying to ratchet up his anti Islamic street cred in front of the crusading values voters summit. It was all a complete act to undermine perceptions that specific group of rabid xenophobes have about him.

Eesh, did you know that Values Voters organization actually helped the Russian parliment craft its opressive anti gay legislation? How do you feel supporting a party so beholden to people whom were so envolved in the implementation of oppressive laws against fellow homosexuals?
