This Canadian Citizen just helped to successfully shut down the Government of the United States of America with the help of the Republican Party.

Score one for the Eh Team.

Democrats who are furloughed can use this opportunity to suck each other's penises. That is what they like to do, suck cock. Then blame the Republicans for something they both failed to do. Then go back to putting penises in their mouths.

Ha ha. Good luck with that argument. Everybody knows the Tea Party did this and will pay the price.

At least a few people in Congress have the balls to stand up to the dictator-wannabe Obama and his takeover of America's healthcare system (which 68% of Americans oppose).

A lot more republicans have been caught sucking cock than democrats. You can make shit up because that's what conservatives do. Are you queer? Not an opinion, just a question.

What exactly is the "disaster"? Stop being a drama queen. 80% of the government is still running. An agreement will be reached in short time and life will carry on.

Lets see, the GOP-controlled house passed 2 different bills to keep the gov't running and the Dem-controlled Senate refused to even vote on them.

Also the president outright refused to negotiate.

Yeah, this is definitely the republicans fault.

So if a Democratic controlled house passed a budget that required defunding of all boarder enforcement (or something else extreme) which a Republican Senate/President rejected, that would be who's fault? Get real. Affordable Care Act passed the Congress, signed by the president, upheld by the courts, supported in a second election....QED.

The president had good reason to refuse to negotiate. He was busy on Saturday setting a record for the most golf outings in a year since he became president. Although people are going without jobs and the government is shutting down, he does not mind spending thousands of taxpayer dollars on Saturday so he can play golf.

The 2nd bill only delayed Obamacare by 1 year.

The people running the program and the state exchanges admit they are NOT ready to proceed. Delaying the rollout would be the smart thing to do.

It's a disaster if you are one of the 800,000 laid off tomorrow. Or one of those who depends on them for business. Of course, if you are an uncaring assclown, you'd wouldn't understand. There are a few of them in the House.

Those on here who don't care/understand are the ones who live with their parents, who don't have real jobs, who don't understand that business owners like myself are concerned for the potential downturn in business this will cause in our area.

Granted I'm concerned about the impact Obamacare will have on my business, but frankly I can handle that. The loss of government worker's business, considering that I'd say 50% of my customers come from a nearby government complex, is much more threatening to me.

Dont worry by the time 2014 is rolling around people will be too busy being screwed over by Obamacare to care about a this week or two shutdown that had 0 affect on their life.

And so the total asswipes and dumbfucks trot out the same old right-wing slop and drivel.

The shutdown is just the latest in what has become a long and disgraceful line of Republican terrorist attacks and hostage-taking crises. None of the others made any sense or did anything but harm. This one won't be any different.

At the end of the day, the GOP has become the Party of Slime, representing greedy corporatists, racist and nativist bigots, fundie religious whackjobs, and really really stupid people. Everyone with a shred of integrity or a grain of actual sense sees right through these endless lies and hoaxes.

It will turn out that everyone can handle it. There is no point in the plan to ruin any people or businesses. On the cntrary, there is a point to bring everyone along as we begin rationalizing the health care system in this country that costs us more per capita than in any other developed country while delivering worse to far worse overall results. It's the pre-PPACA status quo that no one could have handled.

This might come as a shock to you, but there are many people living in Nova that do not rely on the gov't for work. They're not gov't workers, not contractors, not in the local service industry, and in no way rely on the gov't to make their living.

Example: I work for a company whose customer base (somewhere around 98%) is almost entirely overseas. Shut the whole damn gov't down, I could give a shit. We'll be just fine.

Same here. 99% of my business is with customers from elsewhere and has been for 20+ years.

Ignorant lying fucktard. You can't compete with anyone here, and certainly not with me. As has been repeatedly shown. In comparison, you are simply a lower life form. My fucking shoes are smarter than you.

No go back to your finger-painting therapy. You have nothing of any use at all to say about the shutdown or anything else.

What the hell does this thread have to do with Fairfax County? Why isn't it in Off Topics? Anyone who continues to post in this thread until it is moved to the correct forum is only abetting anarchy.

I work at the zoo. We had to kill all the animals today, and because there's no money for charcoal, we couldn't even have a BBQ.

They are con-artists.

They get annual wages.

They are on the radio "acting hurt". But they do it every year, planned it, and are getting extra vacation we'd be fired for even asking for.

They are pointing fingers at each other (dem<->rep) while both their hands are in the till and watching each other's backs.

not only that - remember they are also frequently on the news saying "unionized gov" shouldn't need to work but 4 days a week.
